Yo. Coach Connie just got back yesterday. AHHHHH! She'll go easy on us until after the week break that we get after J.Os. Coach Heather is back too! She's harder than Coach Connie. Yesterday, the J.O. group had a looooong talk. Coach Heather coached us for half the practice.
Warm Up
1x600 free (I only did a 300)
Sets
12x100 free w/ paddles and pull buoy (it that how you spell it?) on 1:30 (I didn't make any of them!)
10x200 free on 3:10 (I also didn't make them)
The J.O. group got into the water and Coach Connie gave the sets out.
20x50 kick w/ fins (going down fly kick, coming back free kick)
10x50 sculling (going down on your stomach, coming back on your back)
Warm Down
1x400 free (breathing pattern every fifth)
The first part of practice was pure torture. I was swimming as hard as I could, but I wasn't going anywhere! Today is not going to be fun. The short course pool is way too hot!
